Submitting Homework

Each episode may have homework assignments. Learn how to read instructions, write your submission, and check your grade and feedback from your instructor.

Reading Instructions

After watching an episode, click the "View Homework" card on the episode page. The homework detail page shows:

  1. Title and Description

    A clear title and overview of what the assignment expects you to learn or demonstrate.

  2. Detailed Instructions

    Step-by-step guidance on what to write or produce. Read these carefully before starting.

  3. Scoring Information

    The maximum score (default 100 points), whether the assignment is required, and the due date window (typically 7 days after watching).

Writing Your Submission

Use the text field on the homework page to compose and submit your work.

  1. Write Your Response

    Click into the submission text area and write your response.

  2. Add Attachments (Optional)

    If the assignment supports attachments, you can also provide a URL to external work (Google Docs, GitHub, etc.).

  3. Submit

    Click Submit to send your homework. Your submission is timestamped automatically.

Before You Submit: Review your work carefully. Once submitted, your status changes to "submitted" and the timestamp is recorded. Make sure your response fully addresses the instructions.

Viewing Grades and Feedback

After your instructor reviews your submission, you can see the results on the homework page:

Score

Your numeric score out of the maximum possible points (e.g., 85/100).

Instructor Feedback

Written comments explaining your grade, highlighting strengths, and suggesting improvements.

Grader & Date

Who graded your work and when the grading was completed.

Homework scores contribute 30% to your overall episode grade. Always submit your best work to maximize your grade.
