Browsing the Digital Store
The RokuChannel Digital Store lets you discover and purchase educational content directly from your Roku TV or companion device. This guide covers how to navigate the store on each platform.
Browsing on Roku TV
Navigate the store using your Roku remote. The store is organized into a grid layout optimized for the big screen experience.
D-Pad Navigation
Use these remote buttons to navigate the store on your TV:
- Up/Down arrows — Move between category rows and product rows
- Left/Right arrows — Scroll through products within a row
- OK button — Open product details or select an action
- Back button — Return to the previous screen
- Star (*) button — Quick-access your cart
Store Layout
The store screen is organized into several sections:
- Category Bar — Horizontal row of category buttons at the top (All, eBooks, Courses, Test Packs, PPV, Bundles)
- Featured Carousel — Highlighted products that auto-rotate; press OK to view
- Product Grid — Rows of product tiles showing thumbnail, title, price, and rating
- Cart Badge — Top-right corner shows the number of items in your cart
Browsing on Phone or Laptop
Access the companion web store from any modern browser. The web store provides the same catalog as the Roku TV but with a responsive layout that adapts to your screen size.

Log in with your RokuChannel account credentials.

The store homepage loads with featured content and category filters.

Content Categories
Products in the store are organized into the following categories:

Search & Filters
How to Search
- On Roku TV: Press the search button on your remote or navigate to the search icon. Use the on-screen keyboard to type your query.
- On Web: Use the search bar at the top of the store. Results appear as you type with autocomplete suggestions.
Sorting Options
Sort the product listing by:
- Price: Low to High — Find the most affordable content first
- Price: High to Low — Premium content first
- Rating — Highest-rated products appear first
- Newest — Most recently added content
- Most Popular — Based on purchase count and engagement
Filtering
Use the filter panel (sidebar on web, category bar on TV) to narrow results by content type, price range, or rating. Filters can be combined for precise results.
Featured Content
Featured products are hand-picked by administrators and appear prominently in the store. They are highlighted in the following ways:
- Featured Carousel — Large banner at the top of the store homepage that cycles through featured items
- Featured Badge — A star icon displayed on product tiles that are marked as featured
- Featured Section — A dedicated row on the store homepage labeled "Featured Content"
- Search Boost — Featured products rank higher in search results
Administrators can mark products as featured from the Store Products admin page.
